This is my first full-fledged side project. I'm going to keep this post updated as I prototype, design and work alongside my engineer friend Nate.
The Pitch:
Punchcard is like a social Yelp. A Kit.com for places and trips. Punchcard's goal is to connect an influencer with their audience, making it super easy to share your itineraries from your Vlog or Instagram stories.
I started off this project with the on boarding because honestly at this stage I wasn’t really sure what I was making.
I used characters and places from Parks & Rec so that I didn't get too hung up on the how's and why's. Instead I used "Users" and "places" that I know and love. This also makes for quick and simple fake customer personas.
What fits the brand more? Fun, rounded buttons? Hard corners? I felt like the harder corners matched the font better. Also, since this will be more of a tool/utility I thought the hard edges gave it a more "mature" vibe.
that's it for now!
