Out of Office Hours

OOO is a mentoring program that allows students and tech newcomers to book meetings with industry folk. I've had the honor of being a mentor for the last year. Most of the time I think I learn more from these meetings than my mentees do.

262 Web Meetup

My local community (Kenosha, WI!) is very important to me. The 262 Web Meetup group is the perfect blend of local community and all things web related. Thanks to this group I've gotten to do fun things like presentations at UW-Parkside and making new connections in the industry. 

Conferences

I've found that conferences are invaluable in our industry. Over the years I've been able to grow a network of fellow designers and developers who are always there when you need advice or help solving a problem.
